LLL Leaders are accredited through La Leche League International through a standardized process that allows them to become familiar with common breastfeeding concerns.

Monthly meetings bring together breastfeeding mothers. Pregnant mothers are welcome to attend before the birth of their baby. Non-separating children are always welcome. Female support persons are also welcome, and some meetings and events are also open to fathers and male supporters. Check with your local LLL Leader for specifics in your community.

Please note that La Leche League is not affiliated with any religious group. However, meetings may sometimes be held in churches, because some churches are kind enough to offer meeting space without charge. No matter where we hold our meetings, all families interested in providing human milk for their babies are always welcome.

La Leche League Leaders provide mother-to-mother support, but they are not lactation consultants and cannot provide medical help. If you have medical questions or concerns, please contact your health care professional and/or an IBCLC.
